The Czech Society for Technical Standardization (ČSTN) is a voluntary non-profit association of persons, that actively work in the field of developing, implementing and applying technical standards and other normative documentation at the internal, national and international levels, or dealing with the application of technical standardization in all areas of science, technology and economics and all other people interested in this area.
The Czech Society for Technical Standardization (ČSTN) is a founding member of the Czech Association of Scientific and Technical Societies and continues the rich tradition of technical education.
ČSTN provides its members and other interested parties with the latest information in the field of technical standardization and related specialization, enables the exchange of views and experience between the authors and users of technical standards on the one hand and the Czech office for standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMZ) and, where appropriate, with other institutions on the other hand. ČSTN is a founding member of the Czech Association of Scientific and Technical Societies.
